Jutta was born in 1040.  Jutta's father was Count Frederick I OF LUXEMBURG and her mother was Countess Ermentrude VON GLEIBERG Irmtrud.  Her paternal grandparents were Count Siegfried IV Of Luxemburg DE CLEVES DE ALSACE and Edith DE LONGWY Hedwig; her maternal grandparents were Count Heribert Of Gleiberg & Kinziggau OF WETTERAU and Irmenrtrude VON AVALGAU. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Frederic II Of Lorraine, Giselbert I, Ermentrude, Otgive and Giselle.  She was the youngest of the six children.
