Otgive was born in 1004.  Otgive's father was Count Frederick I OF LUXEMBURG and her mother was Countess Ermentrude VON GLEIBERG Irmtrud.  Her paternal grandparents were Count Siegfried IV Of Luxemburg DE CLEVES DE ALSACE and Edith DE LONGWY Hedwig; her maternal grandparents were Count Heribert Of Gleiberg & Kinziggau OF WETTERAU and Irmenrtrude VON AVALGAU. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Frederic II Of Lorraine, Giselbert I, Ermentrude, Giselle and Jutta.  She was the second oldest of the six children.


Otgive's family with Count Baldwin IV "Fair Beard" OF FLANDERS

‌Otgive and Baldwin IV "Fair Beard" were married in a religious ceremony in 1021.  They had a son and two daughters, named Baldwin V, Ermengarde and Judith Fausta.
