Alice was born in 1140. Alice's father was Lord Phillip Of Ashby,Tong, & Salop DE BELMEIS and her mother was Maud LES MESCHIMES. Her paternal grandfather was Walter DE BELMEIS; her maternal grandparents were Lord William Of Copeland LES MESCHIMES and Lady Cecily Of Skipton DE RUMILLY. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Roger II Of Wigmore, Robert and Maud.General Notes
