Baudouin VI the Peaceable was born in 1030 in Flanders, Normandy, France.  Baudouin VI the Peaceable's father was Baudouin V "Pious" Count of Flanders and his mother was Adela (Alix) Capet Princess Of FRANCE , Cts de Contenance. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Robert I 'le Frison', Robert I of, Baldwin of, Matilda (Maud) and Matilda Countess Of. He had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named William I, Guy, Henry, Robert, Alix and Elena.  He died at the age of 40 on July 17th, 1070 in Abbey of Hanson, France.
