Maud De CLARE 
Maud De was born about 1252 in Tonebridge, Suffolk, England. Maud De's father was Richard de CLARE EARL OF GLOUCESTER and her mother was Maud de LACY. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Gilbert "the Red Earl" de, Thomas de, Bevis (Bogo) (Benet) De, Robert (Richard) De, Isabel De, Margaret De, Roese (Rohesia) De and Eglentine De. She was the third youngest of the nine children.
