Matilda's father was Henry II Plantagenet de Anjou King of England and her mother was Alice de PorhoIt. Her paternal grandparents were Geoffrey V Plantagenet [COUNT OF ANJOU] and Empress of England Matilda. She had two brothers named Richard and Hugh of Wells. She had ten half-brothers and four half-sisters, named William Plantagenet, Richard I Coeur de Lion, Geoffrey, Philip, John Lackland Plantagenet, Henry the Young King, Morgan, William Longespee of, Peter, Geoffrey Plantagenet, Matilda (Maud), Eleanor, Joan and daughter. She died before 1202.
