Charles Porter Squires 
Charles Porter was born on March 22nd, 1827 in Newbury, OH. Charles Porter's father was Charles Merrill Squires and his mother was Charlotte Smith. His paternal grandparents were John Squire and Sousanna Riddle ***; his maternal grandparents were Caleb Smith and Charlotte Sowles. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Edward, Calvin, John Smith, Albion Caleb, Charlotte, Laura and Carinda. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 45 on May 5th, 1872 in Brigham City, UT.-
