May Simpson 
May was born about 1860. May's father was Jesse M. Simpson and her mother was Martha Ann Burton. Her paternal grandparents were David Simpson and Nancy Ann Unknown; her maternal grandparents were Peyton Thompson Burton and Mary Wiles. She had five brothers named D.T., M.A., Hollis, Richard "Dick" and Thompson. She was the third oldest of the six children. She had a half-sister named Mollie.-
