M.A. Simpson 
M.A. was born about 1858. M.A.'s father was Jesse M. Simpson and his mother was Martha Ann Burton. His paternal grandparents were David Simpson and Nancy Ann Unknown; his maternal grandparents were Peyton Thompson Burton and Mary Wiles. He had four brothers and a sister, named D.T., Hollis, Richard "Dick", Thompson and May. He was the second oldest of the six children. He had a half-sister named Mollie.-
