William Joseph Gheen 
William Joseph was born in 1847. William Joseph's father was Thomas R. Gheen and his mother was Ann Shaw. His paternal grandparents were Thomas R. Gheen and Hannah Pence; his maternal grandparents were Hugh Shaw and Elizabeth Finley. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, David W,, John, George M., Jesse A., Hannah A., Mary, Jane, Susannah, Sara Belle and Elizabeth. He was the sixth youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 2 in 1849.-
