John Bissell

John was born on April 5th, 1659 in Windsor, Hartford, CT. John's father was Samuel Bissell and his mother was Abigail Holcombe. His paternal grandparents were Capt John Bissell and Elizabeth Thompson; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Holcombe and Elizabeth Ferguson. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Jacob, Samuel, Benajah, Joshua, Abigail, Mary, Elizabeth, Deborah and Hannah. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 24 on January 27th, 1684 in Windsor, Hartford, CT.
