John Bacon 
John was born about 1454 in Dronkstone, Suffolk, Eng. John's father was Edmund Bacon and his mother was Elizabeth Crofts. His paternal grandparents were John Bacon and Margarey Thorpe; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Crofts and Susan Polley. He had three brothers and a sister, named William, Francis, Edmund and Mary. He was the second youngest of the five children. He died in 1500 in Helmingham, Suffolk, Eng.-
