Robert Bacon

Robert was born about 1479 in Drinkstone, Suffolk, Eng. Robert's father was John Bacon and his mother was Agnes Cookfield. His paternal grandparents were Edmund Bacon and Elizabeth Crofts; his maternal grandfather was Sir Thomas Cookfield. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Francis, Edmund, Thomas, John, William, Henry, Margery, Jane and Annie. He was the second oldest of the ten children.
