John Armstrong 
John was born on October 27th, 1737 in Norwich, CT. John's father was John Armstrong and his mother was Mary Durkee. His paternal grandparents were John Armstrong and Anne Worth; his maternal grandparents were John Durkee and Mary Lee. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named Andrew, Ebenezer, Ebenezer, Hezekiah, Lee, James, Zacheus, Stephen, Olive W., Lydia, Eunice and Temperence. He was the second oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 44 on March 30th, 1782 in Bennington, VT.-
