John Durkee 
John was born on September 23rd, 1689 in Ipswich, Essex, MA. John's father was John Durkee and his mother was Elizabeth Parsons. His paternal grandparents were William Durkee and Martha Cross; his maternal grandparents were Jephery Parsons and Sarah Vinson. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Nathaniel, Andrew, Jeramiah, William, Thomas, Stephen, Elizabeth, Patiance, Sarah, Mary and Mary. He was the second oldest of the twelve children.
