John Pugh 
John was born on February 17th, 1782 in Hampshire Co., Va. John's father was Samuel Pugh and his mother was Sarah. His paternal grandparents were Robert Pugh and Mary Edwards. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Samuel, Evan, James, Joseph, Enos, Robert, Sarah, Ann and Mary. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 76 on October 10th, 1858 in Wood Co., Va. He was buried in Pugh Cemetery, Williamstown, Wood Co., W.Va.-
