James Pugh 
James was born on May 25th, 1788 in Hampshire Co., Va. James' father was Samuel Pugh and his mother was Sarah. His paternal grandparents were Robert Pugh and Mary Edwards. He had six brothers and three sisters, named John, Samuel, Evan, Joseph, Enos, Robert, Sarah, Ann and Mary. He was the fourth oldest of the ten children.-
