William Johnston 
William was born on October 1st, 1790. William's father was Robert Johnston and his mother was Elisabeth Awbrey. His paternal grandparents were John Johnston and Mary Dougan. He had five brothers and five sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Benjamin, Robert Dugan, Samuel Awbrey, Thomas Dougan, Chandler Awbrey, Areathusca, Mary (Polly), Elisabeth, Margaret, Rebeca and Posey. He was the fifth oldest of the twelve children.-
