Robert Johnston 
Robert was born on July 24th, 1759 in Newberry Co, SC. Robert's father was John Johnston and his mother was Mary Dougan. His maternal grandparents were Thomas Dougan and Eleanor. He had a brother and a sister, named John and Margaret. He died at the age of 60 on May 9th, 1820 in Morgan co, Ga.
They had six sons and five daughters, and also a child of unknown gender, named Benjamin, Robert Dugan, William, Samuel Awbrey, Thomas Dougan, Chandler Awbrey, Areathusca, Mary (Polly), Elisabeth, Margaret, Rebeca and Posey.
