Nancy was born in 1837 in <Pittsylvania, Va>. Nancy's father was Willis Hopwood and her mother was Penelope Moore. Her paternal grandparents were William Hopwood and Nancy Anne Willis. She had a brother and five sisters, named Clark, Linsey, Belinda B, Sally, Polly and Juliano. She was the third youngest of the seven children.General Notes
