Moses Hopwood 
Moses was born about 1689 in Essex Co., Va. Moses' father was Richard Hopwood and his mother was Mary Boyer. His paternal grandfather was Edward Hopwood. He was an only child. He died about 1760.
‌Moses and Elizabeth Pridham were married in a religious ceremony on April 10th, 1727 in North Farnham Parish, Richmond, Va. They had nine sons and three daughters, named Richard, Christopher, Moses, William, Daniel, Peter, Joshua, John, James, Mary Ann, Fanney and Jane.
