William Hopwood 
William was born in 1736 in Va. William's father was Moses Hopwood and his mother was Elizabeth Pridham Hinckley. His paternal grandparents were Richard Hopwood and Mary Boyer; his maternal grandparents were Christopher Pridham and Mary Lewis. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named Richard, Christopher, Moses, Daniel, Peter, Joshua, John, James, Mary Ann, Fanney and Jane. He died about 1817 in Marshall Co., Lewisburg, Tn. He was buried in Willis Hopwood, Plantation.General Notes
