Nicholas Gassaway JR 
Nicholas was born about 1669 in Anne Arundel, MD, USA.1 Nicholas' father was Nicholas Gassaway and his mother was Anne Besson. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Gassaway and Anne Collingwood; his maternal grandparents were Captain Thomas Besson and Hester Caplin. He had two brothers and four sisters, named John, Thomas, Anne, Hester, Jane and Margaret. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died on March 10th, 1699. He was buried in March 1699 in Gresham plantation, Anne Arundel, MD, USA.2 1 General Notes
