Hester Gassaway 
Hester was born after 1672.1 Hester's father was Nicholas Gassaway and her mother was Anne Besson. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Gassaway and Anne Collingwood; her maternal grandparents were Captain Thomas Besson and Hester Caplin. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Nicholas, John, Thomas, Anne, Jane and Margaret. She was the third oldest of the seven children.General Notes
