Her paternal grandparents were Richard Clare and Maud Lacy; her maternal grandparents were Edward I Plantegenet and Eleanor Castile. She had three sisters named Eleanor, Margaret and Alianor. She was the second youngest of the four children. She had a half-sister named Isabel. She died at the age of 65 on November 4th, 1360.-
