Sarah Bowden

Sarah was born in 1861 in Gum Log, Pope Co., AR.¹   Sarah's father was Jackson J. Bowden.  Her paternal grandfather was John Bodine. She had eight brothers and four sisters, named James T., Robert Sanders, Benjamin Franklin, Charles D., George A., Anthon C., Miles E., Jackson J., Ann, Nancy J., Mary Lay and Sallie F..  She was the fifth oldest of the thirteen children.  Sarah is no longer alive.¹
