Robert Sanders Bowden

Robert Sanders was born on October 6th, 1853 in Gravel Hill, Pope Co., AR.¹   Robert Sanders' father was Jackson J. Bowden.  His paternal grandfather was John Bodine. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named James T., Benjamin Franklin, Charles D., George A., Anthon C., Miles E., Jackson J., Ann, Nancy J., Mary Lay, Sarah and Sallie F..  He was the oldest of the thirteen children.  He died at the age of 80 in 1933.  He was buried in Hillis Cemetery, Moreland AR.^1 1 

‌Robert Sanders were married in a religious ceremony on February 14th, 1878 in Pope County, AR.¹   He had five biological sons and a biological daughter, named Lonzoe Jackson, R.O., Finis, Alvis, Andrew and Rosa.
