Lafayette T. Bowden 
Lafayette T. was born in 1850 in TN.1 Lafayette T.'s father was James Newton Bowden. His paternal grandfather was John Bodine. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named John H., William Jasper, Joseph R., Newton II, Columbus Washington, Henry B., Charles Went, James R., Elizabeth Jane, Mary E., Elizabeth and Madora Alice. He died at the age of 81 in 1931 in Pope Co., AR.1 General Notes

Uncle "Fate" established the Bowden Cemetary on Crow Mountain, AR in
1889. He also gave land for the Mars Hill Methodis Church, of which he
was a member.
He had three biological sons and three biological daughters, named Jim Frank, Billy, Calvin M., Etta, Ida and Ada.
