William Hawke

William was born on December 3rd, 1808.¹   William's father was Thomas Hawke and his mother was Jane Gilbert. He had six brothers and four sisters, named John, Thomas, Philip, Samuel, George, Robert, Ann, Jenifer, Philippa and Jane.  He was the youngest of the eleven children.
