George Hawke

George was born on October 9th, 1802.¹   George's father was Thomas Hawke and his mother was Jane Gilbert. He had six brothers and four sisters, named John, Thomas, Philip, Samuel, Robert, William, Ann, Jenifer, Philippa and Jane.  He was the third youngest of the eleven children.
