Bartlett Searcy 
Bartlett was born about 1725 in Nottinghamshire,England. Bartlett's father was John Searcy and his mother was Phoebe Anderson. His paternal grandparents were John Searcy and Ann. He had four brothers and five sisters, named John , Jr, Reuben, Richard, Daniel, Elizabeth, Mary, Susannah, Sarah and Ruth. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died in 1787 in Granville Co,NC.1
