John was born in 1350 in Upholland,Lancashire,England.1   John's father was Earl Thomas II De Holland Of Kent and his mother was Countess Joan Plantagenet Of Kent.  His maternal grandparents were Earl Edmund Plantagenet Of Kent and Margaret Wake. He had a brother and two sisters, named Thomas III, Jane and Maud. He had two half-brothers named Edward and Richard II.  He died at the age of 49 on January 10th, 1399 in Executed at Castle Pleshey,Essex,England.2 


John's family with Elizabeth Plantagenet Of Lancaster

‌John and Elizabeth were married in a religious ceremony on June 24th, 1386.  They had two sons and three daughters, named John, Richard, Constance, Elizabeth and De Holland.
