Thomas De Berkeley

Thomas was born in 1325 in Berkeley Castle,Gloucestershire,England. Thomas' father was Thomas (The Rich) De Berkeley and his mother was Margaret De Mortimer. His paternal grandparents were Maurice (The Magnanimous) De Berkeley and Lady Eve La Zouche; his maternal grandparents were Roger De Mortimer and Joan De Geneville. He had four brothers and a sister, named Roger, Alphonse, Maurice, Sir John and Joane. He was the second oldest of the six children. He had a half-brother named Edmond. He died at the age of 24 in 1349.
