Maurice De Berkeley

Maurice was born on May 27th, 1330 in Berkeley Castle,Gloucestershire,England. Maurice's father was Thomas (The Rich) De Berkeley and his mother was Margaret De Mortimer. His paternal grandparents were Maurice (The Magnanimous) De Berkeley and Lady Eve La Zouche; his maternal grandparents were Roger De Mortimer and Joan De Geneville. He had four brothers and a sister, named Roger, Thomas, Alphonse, Sir John and Joane. He was the second youngest of the six children. He had a half-brother named Edmond. He died at the age of 38 in August 1368.
