Fernando III "El Santo" was born in 1198 in Cerca de Salamanca.  Fernando III "El Santo"'s father was Alfonso IX Rey De Leon and his mother was Berengaria Reina De Leon Y Castilla.  His paternal grandparents were Fernando II Rey De Leon and Urraca Princesa De Portugal; his maternal grandparents were Alfonso VIII "El Noble" Sanchez Rey De Castilla and Eleanor Plantagenet. He had a brother and three sisters, named Alfonso, Berenguela, Urraca and Leonor. He had three half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Fernando, Pedro Afonso De, Rodrigo Afonso De, María Afonso De, Dulce, Sancha, Urraca Afonso De and Aldonza Afonso De.  He died at the age of 54 on May 30th, 1252 in Sevilla.

‌Fernando III "El Santo" and Elisabeth were married in a religious ceremony on November 30th, 1219 in Burgos (Es).  They had eight sons and three daughters, named Alfonso X "El Sabio", Sancho, Enrique, Fernando, Manuel, Fadrique, Felipe, Lope Diaz, Maria, Berenguela and Leonor.


Fernando III "El Santo"'s second family with Condesa Johanna De Dammartin

‌Fernando III "El Santo" and Johanna De were married in a religious ceremony in 1237 in Burgos (Es).  They had three sons and a daughter, named Luis, Juan, Fernando and Leonor.
