Elisabeth was born in 1202 in Augsburg, Schwaben, Bavaria. Elisabeth's father was Phillipp II Rey de Alemania and her mother was Irini Maria Princesa de Constantinopla. Her paternal grandparents were Emperador del Santo Imperio Romano Friedrich I "Barbarossa" Von Hohenstaufen and Beatrix De Borgonha; her maternal grandfather was Emperador Isaac II Angelus De Bizancio. She had three sisters named Beatrix, Kuningunde and Maria. She died at the age of 33 on November 5th, 1235 in Toto, Zamora, Spain. She was buried in Sevilla.General Notes
