Robert Varner 
Robert was born about 1846.1 Robert's father was Samuel Varner and his mother was Mary Hogue. His paternal grandparents were John Varner and Sarah Moore; his maternal grandparents were Miller Hogue and Tracy Wilson. He had two brothers and three sisters, named William (possibly Wilson), Samuel Varner, Lucy, Sarah and Tamar. He was the second youngest of the six children.
