Samuel Markin

Samuel was born on July 13th, 1788 in Virginia.¹   Samuel's father was Charles W I Markin and his mother was Lucinda Dechard. He had eight brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, John, Charles W II, Daniel H., Cornelius B., Andrew, James M., William H, Martha and Elizabeth.  He was the oldest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 62 in 1850 in Lawrence County Ohio.¹ 

‌Samuel and Elizabeth were married in a religious ceremony on August 27th, 1815 in Brown County, Ohio.¹   They had four sons and a daughter, named Warren, Charles L, Samuel, Sylvester and Golden.
