Warren Markin 
Warren was born in 1823 in Ohio.1 Warren's father was Samuel Markin and his mother was Elizabeth Golden. His paternal grandparents were Charles W I Markin and Lucinda Dechard; his maternal grandparents were Warren Golden and Hetty Fletcher. He had three brothers and a sister, named Charles L, Samuel, Sylvester and Golden. He was the oldest of the five children.
‌Warren and Mary Ann were married in a religious ceremony on August 1st, 1844 in Lawrence County, Ohio.1 They had five sons and four daughters, named Thomas Taylor, Warren Fletcher, John William, Charles Ullysis S Grant, James Logan, Louisa J, Elizabeth, Rebecca Ellen and Mary Alice.
