Benjamin Franklin was born about 1826 in Estill or Washington Co,KY.1 Benjamin Franklin's father was Joseph Tyree and his mother was Anna Gordon. His maternal grandparents were Hugh Gordon and Sarah Owens. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Franklin, George, Gordon, Helcher "Gillum", Jane and Elizabeth. Dennis Von Ting says Benjamin was buried at Apple Creek, Cape Girardeau, MO. There is a Benjamin F. "Tirey" buried at the Gorden Cem. I just wonder which Benjamin this was. There are no dates on the stone unfortunately.
