Orr, Hugh was born in Edinburg, Scotland and his father was Hugh, the 1st who had a large estate in Chancery Court, England.However, information from the LDS Ancestral File, submitted by Larry K. & Marsha L. Isaacs, 106 Ivy Arch, Yorktown, VA, gives his father as James GORDON and his mother Euphin MANSON and that Hugh was born in?Innerness (Inverness?), Scotland. Hugh's family is taken from theAncestral File record.
Hugh and Sarah were married in a religious ceremony in 1766 in King George Co,VA. They had six sons and six daughters, named Jordon, Dorcus, Frances, William, Joel, Elijah, Mary "Molly", Noah "Monoah", Anna, Rhoda "Rody", Elizabeth and Sally.
