Joel Gordon

Joel was born on June 15th, 1782 in King George Co,VA.  Joel's father was Hugh Gordon and his mother was Sarah Owens.  His paternal grandfather was James Gordon; his maternal grandparents were Nathaniel Owens and UNKNOWN Unknown. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Jordon, Dorcus, Frances, William, Elijah, Mary "Molly", Noah "Monoah", Anna, Rhoda "Rody", Elizabeth and Sally.  He was the sixth youngest of the twelve children. He had a half-sister named Frances.
