Rebecca was born on November 13th, 1825 in Owen County,IN. Rebecca's father was John Arney and her mother was Mary Magdalene Boyles. Her paternal grandparents were Henry Arney and Mary Magdalena Faulk; her maternal grandparents were William Boyles and Sarah Hampton. She had five brothers and eight sisters, named Noah, Frederick, Andrew, William, Solomon, Rebecca, Lucinda, Lucinda, Martha, Mary Magdalene, Mary Magdalene, Emily and Nancy Jane. She was the third oldest of the fourteen children. She died at the age of 86 on November 30th, 1911 in Spencer,Owen County,IN.-
