Lucinda was born in 1826 in Owen County,IN. Lucinda's father was John Arney and her mother was Mary Magdalene Boyles. Her paternal grandparents were Henry Arney and Mary Magdalena Faulk; her maternal grandparents were William Boyles and Sarah Hampton. She had five brothers and eight sisters, named Noah, Frederick, Andrew, William, Solomon, Rebecca, Rebecca, Lucinda, Martha, Mary Magdalene, Mary Magdalene, Emily and Nancy Jane. She was the sixth oldest of the fourteen children. She died in of scarlet fever Owen County,IN.-
