Matilda POWELL

Matilda was born on July 8th, 1849 in Schuyler Co., Missouri.¹   Matilda's father was Charles POWELL and her mother was Elizabeth Jane Lane.  Her maternal grandparents were John C. Lane and Ann G. MARTIN. She had six brothers and six sisters, named John H., Andrew Jackson, William Joseph, Israel Nordike, Charles, Richard S., Matilda, Catherine Ann, Nancy Jane, Martha, Martha and Melvina.  She was the second oldest of the thirteen children.  She died at the age of 74 on June 26th, 1924.¹
