James Whaley

James was born in 1762 in ,,Virginia.¹ James' father was James Whaley and his mother was Barbara Ramey. His paternal grandparents were James Whaley and Elizabeth; his maternal grandparents were Jacob Remy and Sarah. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Jacob Gibson, Benjamin, Henry, Elijah, Leland, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Sarah, Kate and Jemima. He was the third oldest of the eleven children. He had two half-brothers and four half-sisters, named John, William, Elizabeth, Jane Or Keziah, Barbara and Mary. He died at the age of 40 in November 1802 in ,Bourbon, Kentucky.¹
