Spears

Spears was born about 1811 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   Spears' father was Samuel Spears and her mother was Rebecca Smith.  Her paternal grandmother was Rosina Spears. She had two brothers and three sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named John, William, Matilda, Spears, Matilda and Spears.  She was the oldest of the seven children. She had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named David, Lazarus, Jesse, William, Phereba, Nancy Ann and Lucy.
