Edward Clayton Sims 
Edward Clayton was born on December 14th, 1891 in ,Shelby, Illinois.1 Edward Clayton's father was John Thomas Sims and his mother was Martha Lavonia Shehorn. His paternal grandparents were John Jackson Or Jack Sims and Catharine Ann Knight; his maternal grandparents were Giles Harrison Shehorn and Ammogine Horton. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Charles H., George Franklin, Harold W., John William, Anna Belle, Martha Alice and Alta Marie. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 32 on March 17th, 1924 in Pana, Christian, Illinois.1 -
