Jacob Simon Or Simmons

Jacob was born on August 20th, 1798 in ,Greenbrier, Virginia.¹   Jacob's father was Christian Simon Or Simmons and his mother was Catherine Amend Or Ammons.  His paternal grandparents were Jacob Simon and Margaret. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Samuel, George, Margaret, Elizabeth, Susannah Catherine, Mary, Martha and Anna.  He was the fourth oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 68 on January 29th, 1867.¹
