Garrett Shropshire

Garrett was born about 1877 in Of, Bourbon, Kentucky.¹ Garrett's father was Augustus Shropshire and his mother was Fanny Forrester. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Thomas Shropshire and Elizabeth Jane Smith; his maternal grandfather was R. H. Forrester. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Robert, Benjamin, Palmer, Ida, Pink and Fanny. He was the second youngest of the seven children.
